ATTIRE: Dress to impress! Our Speakeasy Series are 1920's - prohibition era - themed. Dressing accordingly is encouraged but not required. Black Tie is welcomed but not required. Please note: There will be prizes given to "Best Dressed Guest" and "Best Dressed Couple."
GETTING HERE: Our cruise departs from and returns to Navy Pier located at 600 East Grand Avenue, Chicago IL. Our host for this Speakeasy Series is The Chicago Elite Yacht located on the south side of the pier (roughly half way down the pier). If being dropped off, your quickest route is via entrance #1. Have your ride (Limo/Taxi/Uber/Lyft/etc.) drive onto Navy Pier via the access street on the north side of the pier. There is a turn-around drop off point that will allow you to cross the pier and find our Yacht quickly. It is HIGHLY recommended that you DO NOT DRIVE to this event unless you are not planning on drinking alcohol. If you are driving, parking may be available in the Navy Pier Parking Garage but may be limited.
TICKET HOLDERS: Will be emailed advanced directions and plans closer to the cruise date, for more specific location and boarding instructions.
TICKETS: Before boarding The Chicago Elite on the day of your cruise, if you have already purchased tickets, you may pick up your ‘ship access passes’ at our ticket booth, located next to the ship. Please present your printed ticket with bar code from Universe Ticketing or simply pull up the email on your phone and present your bar code for scanning. For your convenience, our ticket booth opens at 8:00pm and closes at 9:55pm on Saturday, December 31st, 2016. Yacht departs at 10pm and returns to dock at 12:30am. Please plan accordingly and give yourself extra time! Holiday Weekends often equate to increased traffic for all.
BEVERAGES AND FOOD: All drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, as well as all food are included with your ticket purchase.
CRUISING: The Great Libation New Year's Eve Speakeasy Cruise departs promptly at 10:00pm, weather permitting. Certain Lake conditions will require us to cruise within the breakwater. In the rare event of extreme weather, the event may be held dockside. For the comfort and safety of our passengers, smoking is permitted on the outside decks only. Our Hosts, Entertainment Cruises and The Chicago Elite, have final say regarding cruising conditions as well as for the safety of our guests. Please listen to the directions and instructions of the cruise ship staff at all times.
PASSENGER CONDITION/DISABLED GUESTS: We welcome the opportunity to host and assist guests with special needs. Please help us by contacting The Great Libation at the time you book your ticket or as soon as possible to inform us of any guest needing special assistance due to physical or mental disability. FIREWORKS: The best views will be from the outside rooftop deck of the Yacht. Please be sure to bring a coat, as it is likely to be chilly on the decks. The inside lounge and dining decks are climate controlled. Fireworks are at the discretion of The City Of Chicago and are not guaranteed to take place.
COAT CHECK: Coat check will not be available on our yacht. For your convenience, each guest will have a reserved seat on the dining deck. You may elect to leave your coat on your chair while exploring the yacht and dancing in the upstairs lounge. The Great Libation is not responsible for any lost or stolen items.
SEATING: Each guest will have a reserved seat at a table on the dining deck. Fell free to call this home base as you journey around the yacht. Unless have purchased a private table package, all seating is communal. Tickets purchased at the same time will be sat next to each other. If you would like to sit next to someone who has already purchased a ticket. Simply email us with this request.

This event will sell out as only 150 tickets are available for purchase. Must be 21 years of age or older to attend this event; Valid state or government issued ID Required. Drink selections are subject to availability. Cruise reserves the right to refuse service for any patron at cruise discretion. Cruise & promoter are not responsible for any lost or stolen items. Customers consuming alcohol and food do so at their own risk. Cruise is not responsible for any illness or allergy related issues regarding consumption of shell fish or any other food and beverage served on The Great Libation New Year's Eve Speakeasy Cruise.
TICKETS. You will receive a printable hard copy ticket with unique bar-code at the completion of your online order via Email form Universe Ticket Company. Upon check-in you may present your printed ticket for scanning or simply pull up the email on your phone. Only your Tickets will guarantee your boarding pass for The Great Libation New Years Eve Speakeasy Cruise. All tickets purchased online will be redeemed at the ship kiosk (located next to the yacht on the south side of Navy Pier). Further boarding instructions are forthcoming for all ticket holders, in advance of departure date.
CLOSING TIME: The cruise and open bar will end at 12:30am and all guests must be off the boat by 1am to keep the crew happy. No refunds, exchanges, or cancellations on purchased tickets of any kind. No refunds or exchanges in case of cancellation due to weather, natural catastrophe or any other event beyond the control of the cruise.
